Divine Vastu Tipsfor ‘Karwa Chauth’ 2013
October 17, 2013WELCOME NEW YEAR 2014 WITH DIVINE VASTU TIPS
January 1, 2014Vastu Shastra is a directional science that effectively combines five elements of cosmos and nature. The science then balances the same with human beings and materials. It explains the difference between pleasant and distressing frequencies generated in premises. It is believed that the universe is composed of five elementary elements: Air, Water, Fire, Space and Earth. These elements also combine to compose the human body. In order to get an idea of the individual role played by these five natural elements, one needs to individually understand the properties of each of these elements.
Earth: The Earth is known for its magnetic and gravitational qualities and is the one natural element that connects to the five sensory organs (i.e., Taste, Smell, Sight, Touch and Hearing) within the human body. Hence, this natural element has the biggest influence on human lives.
Water: This is also a very important natural element and quantitatively, the largest among the five. About 70 percent of the human body is made up of water and, coincidentally, more than 70 percent of Earth is covered in water. Vastu helps in deciding the places where the water sources have to be placed in a construction.
Fire: The Sun serves as the biggest source of energy and life. True to its own characteristics, it provides us with strength and vitality. However, the Sun may also contain harmful rays (Negative Energy), which have to be blocked as per recommendations of Vastu.
Air: This is the most fundamental natural element as survival of human beings depends on it. Air available on our planet is a combination of a lot of gases including Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon dioxide, Argon, Hydrogen and Helium etc. These are all essential for humans. Vastu provides guidelines in building construction so that the maximum benefit from this natural element can be derived.
Space: This natural element is infinite and is not restricted to any geographical boundaries. It is linked to the central portion (‘Brahmasthan’) of any construction site, which definitely needs to be kept open as per Vastu guidelines. If the element of Space is disturbed, it can result in hindrance of progress and growth.
In Ancient Indian scriptures and ‘Vedas’ it is said that we have ‘Seven Basic Needs’ in our life. Let us discuss their importance Vastu wise.
1. Enjoying a Good Health is our First Need:
By following the principles of Vastu we try to do away with negative energy, mental agony and achieve mental peace. By implementing the Vastu remedies, numerous health problems have been mitigated from the lives of people around the Globe since human energy is affected by many things including lighting, colors, plants, the placement of furniture, by the shape and size of a building and the materials, which are used.
Health is a basic factor of our life. If you are not healthy you cannot grow in life, cannot work hard. Beware if you have a restroom in your North-East direction, this may lead to many chronic diseases and ends in surgical procedures. North-East bedrooms used by couple may create problems in pregnancy, could also lead to abnormal children.
Never place your head towards North direction while sleeping, the North Pole energy disturbs in sleep and creates health problems. Now we come to the South-West corner, restrooms, water bodies, swimming pools provided in this direction leads to many problematic health issues and in turn create tension and depression.
South-Eastern bedrooms may give high blood pressure problem and irritation in your mood as a routine. The East side of your plot the direction from where the Sun takes a rise is very sensitive, It this is blockedand made heavy you get Eye related problems, Stroke, Paralysis and severe headaches/migraines etc.
2. A Good Source of Income is Second Need:
Never say I am poor; generally people say this phrase like “We are poor people” (“Hum Tou Gareeb Aadmi Hain”). This way you are ‘empowering’ your problem. Always give the dues and balances on time. Facing the North directions opens up the opportunities for money. Time is money, always value it. Check the water slopes, it should not be towards the South or South-Western directions.
Give a boost to North Pole energy, clear the obstructions from North to South; accumulate the energy by closing the South and South-West areas. Make your entries are from the prosperous direction, beautify the main entries. Take care that the entries may have no obstruction inside or outside. Let your time be in your favor, place the wall clocks and calendars in North direction.
3. Our Third Need is a Good Life Partner:
A right life partner makes your life journey very easy and cushions you from all jerks and obstacles you get in life path. To gain this aspect apply ‘Law of Equality’. Wherever there is darkness give equal amount of light and where there is dullness, give sharpness. Keep a balance between male and female energies, balance between the ‘receptiveness’ and ‘giving-ness’. Give combination in colors and sounds. Choose right direction for the bedroom.
4. Everyone’s Fourth Need is Name and Fame:
It is an important need. Name, fame and respect you gain from this society. Money cannot bring you name and fame but vice versa. Enhance your North-East and East direction for the name and fame. Always keep this direction very clean. Identify these directions, beautify them and do not burden them.
5. Having Obedient Children is Fifth Need:
Parent-Child relationship is one of the purest form of relationships. But in this modern time, children need answers, clarifications, and equal amount of give and takes. The ego strings attached to this relation sometimes result into bitterness. Now we come to the Vastu part. Check your building structure. If North is higher than South than you may be uncomfortable in this relationship. Another big reason may be children occupying the authoritative positions in the structure. The South-Western positions occupied by the children gives them dominating attitudes and bring a clash between the parents and children.
6. Sixth need is Security from Enemies:
This indicates a secure life where you have no enemies in your life. Scan the South-Eastern directions of your structure. What all have you given in this direction. See your main entries; also see your water sources. South-East is always allocated for fire related works. Fire being very potent & have lots of anti-elements like water & air. So one should be careful while placing the other elements with fire. The use of South-East is a delicate matter.
7. Finally the Seventh Need is Spirituality:
Improving the spiritual vibrations of our homes can have many positive effects such as increased financial security, improved relationships between those living in the home, more happiness among residents, and less obstacles to spiritual practice done by those in the home. After all the requirements you must thank the almighty. You should be able to follow his nature made principles. Make your environment so healthy so that you would be able to love humanity. If you really lack this, use violet shades in your life, press your index finger and thumb for some time to concentrate on your ‘karmas’.
Though there are many different types of spiritual practices, it is important that our spiritual practice adheres to the basic ‘Principles of Spirituality’ for its effectiveness. If not, we run the risk of putting in a lot of effort but not seeing the results that match that effort. The six basic principles of spiritual practice are:
- There are as many paths to God as there are people.
- Going from ‘many’ to ‘one’.
- Progressing from gross (‘tangible’) to subtle (‘intangible’).
- Undertaking spiritual practice as per the spiritual level or spiritual capacity.
- Doing spiritual practice relevant to the times.
- Offering to God as per your talent or capacity.
